- 2 cups chicken breast cooked & shredded
- 8 oz cream cheese softened and cut into small pieces
- ½ cup sour cream
- ½ cup Frank’s Red Hot sauce
- 1½ teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ¾ cup sharp orange cheddar cheese shredded (for the dip)
- ¾ cup Monterey Jack cheese shredded (for the dip)
- ¾ cup blue cheese crumbled
- ½ cup sharp orange cheddar cheese shredded (for topping)
- ½ cup Monterey Jack cheese shredded (for topping)
Garnish
- green onion finely sliced
- blue cheese crumbled
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9-inch baking dish or oven-safe skillet.
- Mix the base: In a large bowl, stir together the cream cheese, sour cream, Frank’s Red Hot sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth and well combined.
- Add the chicken and cheese: Fold in the shredded chicken, ¾ cup orange cheddar, ¾ cup Monterey Jack, and blue cheese until evenly mixed.
- Bake the dip: Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared dish. Top with the remaining ½ cup cheddar and ½ cup Monterey Jack. Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, until hot, bubbly, and lightly golden on top.
- Serve: Let rest for about 20 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm, or refrigerate and serve chilled if you prefer a cool, creamy buffalo chicken dip. Garnish with green onions or extra blue cheese on top. Serve with tortilla chips, celery sticks, carrot sticks, or sliced baguette.
